Birthday bag drive
Regardless of a family’s financial circumstances, every child deserves to celebrate their birthday. In honor of my own birthday, I invite you to join me in crafting birthday bags for the IFC Food Pantry during the month of May. This pantry holds a special place in my heart, and I take immense pleasure in supporting their ongoing efforts. Let’s spread joy and festivity to brighten someone’s special day. Attached is a guide on what we add to our birthday bags, filled with everything to make a child’s birthday truly memorable.
The Essentials
Collect all the essentials needed to have a family birthday celebration at home. Always include a disposable cake tin or liners that do not need a cupcake tin.
Party Makers
Don’t forget to include a small card game and some fun decorations before adding everything to to the bag. Lastly, don’t forget a blank card (bought or homemade).
Drop it Off
Your completed birthday bags or supplies can be dropped off to SchoolHaus Prep (1002 Smith Level Rd, Chapel Hill, NC 27516) Monday through Friday from 1pm to 4 pm or message us to set up an alternative drop off location.
Join us in making a difference by helping us achieve our mission of creating 100 birthday bags for the children at the IFC food pantry. Together, we can bring joy and smiles to these kids on their special day! 🎉
