Welcome to the Nanny Posse blog! We are an agency created with the intent of not only connecting families and nannies but also creating community. Here at Nanny Posse, our mission is to not only serve as matchmakers between caregivers and parents but also to serve as educators on how to navigate the domestic childcare world. We understand that it can be difficult to find the right nanny for your family, so we are here to make the process easier.
About Us
When I founded Nanny Posse back in 2019, my mission was simple yet ambitious: to close the gaps in support and transparency within the nanny industry. It was obvious that many families were making decisions without proper resources, and many nannies were unaware of what they should expect from potential employers. So, I set out to create an open relationship between families and caregivers through our placement services—ensuring that everyone could make informed decisions that work best for their unique situation.
Our goal is for everyone to find the posse that fits their needs – whether it’s full-time or part-time care, live-in or live-out arrangements – or something entirely different! Through our placement services, we strive to make childcare safer, more accessible, and most importantly—more enjoyable for everyone involved!
However, we recognize that not everyone can be provided with this service directly. That’s why we created this blog as an informational space for all members of our community – providing education, support, and transparency so that everybody can make choices about nannying based on what works best for them.
