After you submit your request we connect you with one of our amazing sitters based on your tier preferences and availability. We will be in touch as soon as we have a sitter confirmed for you. Please note our cancelation policy goes into effect immediately after being matched with a sitter.
You will find your sitter’s information in your dashboard along with a brief bio. We encourage you to connect with your sitter prior to your shift start time.
Once your sitter starts their shift enjoy your time out (or in) knowing our posse has you covered. Once you return pay them from the app and add a tip if you think they deserve it!

Please note our pay-as-you-go sit requests are processed Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm, excluding holidays. If you would like to have 24/7 access to make bookings for last-minute, emergency, or backup care we encourage you to consider our unlimited Membership.
All sitters booked through Nanny Posse are paid directly by the family at the end of their scheduled booking and are subject to the following tier price structure. Families are always welcome to pay their caregiver more or tip the caregiver if the family believes the care is worthy of a higher rate. However, families are not allowed to pay less than the tier minimum for the caregiver.

***CURRENTLY UNAVAILBLE*** Sitters with less than 2 years of childcare experience AND a minimum of 9 hours of childcare educational credits (equivalent to a CDA) or a relevant childcare certification and must maintain a minimum three-star rating w/agency families.
Sitters with 2-5 years experience and/or a minimum of 60 hours of childcare educational credits (equivalent to an associates degree) and must maintain a minimum three-star rating w/agency families.
Sitters with 5+ years experience and/or a minimum of 120 hours of childcare educational credits or a bachelor's degree in another field. The nanny must also maintain a minimum four-star rating w/agency families.
Sitters with 8+ years of experience and/or a minimum of 156+ credit hours (equivalent to a master's degree) and a minimum four-star rating w/agency families.

The booking fee is the fee paid directly to Nanny Posse for matching families with qualified sitters.
This fee is only required once a sitter is secured.
We are committed to the safety of both our families AND our sitters. For this reason, all of our families are vetted before we match them with sitters.
We require our families to have a background check on file for ALL the adults living in your home or references from at least three (3) previous caregivers (nannies, sitters, teachers, etc.). These checks will need to be updated annually.
*This price only includes two checks, and additional checks can be purchased for $60 a piece.
All sitters are to be paid $10 or half (½) their hourly rate (whichever is higher) for all sleeping hours.*
*Sleeping hours are defined as all hours that child is asleep while the care provider is in your home for a booked overnight between the hours of 8pm-6am
Nanny Posse will work on the back end to do our best to help you book any last minute jobs. However, Nanny Posse makes no guarantee that a nanny or care provider can be placed in your home for these given dates. You are never charged if a provider cannot be secured.
*All late fees are in addition to the regular booking fee.**See “Holidays” tab for list of holiday
*Inconvenience Fee- This fee is waived for families experiencing medical or family emergencies.
**Cancelation Fee- This fee can only be waived at the nanny/care provider’s discretion.
If a Family’s child should fall ill twenty-four (24) hours before the Sitter is scheduled to start working Nanny Posse must be notified as soon as possible.
The Nanny Posse Sitter will make the final decision if they wish to provide sick childcare. If the sitter chooses to care for the ill child, you agree to pay NP sitters an additional $10 per hour, plus their applicable tier rate, overtime, and holiday premiums, if any.
Our base pricing is for two children. Any child over that will incur an additional $1 per additional child.
*Please note a Nanny Posse sitter can only care for up to five (5) children at a time. Six (6) or more children will require an additional sitter to be booked.
Every 15 minutes after the scheduled end time is 50% of the sitters hourly rate.
We understand that things come up and many sitters are willing to accommodate families if proper communication precedes your return home. However, the sitter may also have other obligations following their time booked with your family and their booking time should be respected.
We suggest that all requests to extend bookings be made via text message. We also suggest that you ensure written confirmation from the sitter that they will waive the late fee charge for any tardiness you may incur.
If you come home anytime after your scheduled end time you are subject to the above late fees at the sitters discretion.

To best protect our families and caregivers the following will be rquired until further notice:
Within the last 14 days, have you traveled to a country that the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention should be avoided for nonessential travel or where travelers should practice enhanced precautions?
Have you had contact with any person with know COVID-19 or person under investigation for COVID-19?
Do you have any symptoms of respiratory infection (e.g. cough, sore throat, fever, shortness of breath)?
Are you or anyone in your home in active quarantine status?
If you are looking to add a family to your sit they will need to register with our agency before a Nanny Posse sitter can care for their children.
You will also each be responsible for paying the nanny two thirds (2/3) the sitter’s hourly rate.
